The 30 point AI visibility checklist
Six areas, 30 checks, no tool required. This is the list our own audit runs against, published in full so you can run it yourself and decide whether you need anyone.

Crawl and access
- AI crawlers are allowed in robots.txt, checked agent by agent rather than assumed
- Key pages render their content without JavaScript
- No important section is behind a login, a modal or an infinite scroll
- XML sitemap is current and submitted
- llms.txt exists and points at pages that still resolve
Entity
- Four engines give the same answer to who the company is
- One canonical name and one description used on every profile you control
- Organization schema on every page, resolving to the same identifiers
- No stale listing carries an old name, address or brand
- A knowledge panel exists, or you know exactly why it does not
Content shape
- Every substantive page answers one question in its first fifty words
- Headings are questions a buyer would actually type
- Sections stand alone when read out of context
- Pronouns replaced with full entity names inside each block
- Numbers carry units, dates and a stated source in the same block
Evidence
- At least one number on the site came from you rather than someone else's report
- Every substantive page has a named author with a real profile
- Every page carries a visible date
- Claims that need a method state the method
- Nothing on the site is a figure nobody can trace
Measurement
- A prompt set of twenty to forty questions exists and is written down
- It is frozen, so the trend stays comparable
- It runs weekly across four engines on the same day
- Appearance, position and cited source are all recorded, not just appearance
- Results are reported as a rolling average against three named competitors
Sources
- You know which sources the engines cite in your category
- That list, not a media wish list, is your placement plan
- Community threads in your category have been checked
- Placements are re-tested against the same prompts four weeks after going live
- Branded search volume is tracked alongside citations

The reasoning behind these checks, from the operators of the systems being checked.
Twenty buying prompts, four engines, you against three named competitors. Report in one working day. No call needed.
The checklist: common questions
Do I need a tool to run this?
No. Every check is something you can verify by looking, asking an engine, or reading your own robots.txt. Our free tools speed up four of them.
How long does a full pass take?
An afternoon for a small site. The measurement section is the one that takes real discipline, because it has to run every week.
Can I use this checklist with clients?
Yes, free to use and cite with attribution. If you are an agency and you rebrand it wholesale, at least keep it accurate.
What if I fail most of it?
Start with crawl and entity. Nothing else holds until an engine can reach you and describe you consistently.
